The emphasis in this project changed over the years from a League member working with a handicapped child to recruiting volunteers to work with children. The League worked with public school board language specialists and the Alberta Chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada. The League also had representation on the board of the Edmonton Association for Children with Learning Disabilities during this period.
